Owner/Co-Founder
Jenna Montanez, LCSW (she/her)
Jenna and her wife (Ivellise) co-founded and own Healing Transformations LLC. The vision for their practice derived from their shared passion for helping and supporting others in their healing journeys, through their shared empathetic nature, as well as providing a practice that is a safe place for its therapists to practice in a place that is aligned with their personal and shared values.
Jenna was first drawn to the field of social work because of a strong sense of social justice, desire to create equity and equality in her service for others, and her ability to approach situations and people without judgment, holding to the DBT tenant that everyone is doing the best that they can. She has worked with children, adolescents, parents, families, adults and couples, across a variety of settings including clinical day schools, congregate care settings, and PHP/IOP programs. She is experienced in supporting individuals who have developmental disabilities, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma related disorders, and eating disorders. She has supported clients as they work through grief and loss, interpersonal conflicts, traumatic events, life transitions, self discovery, and self esteem issues.
Utilizing a relational approach, Jenna strongly believes in peoples right to self-determination. She works with her clients to empower them, which supports the development of clients self-efficacy, truly allowing them to feel their progress, growth, change and healing has come from within.
