Kaitlyn Doucette
LPC

Kaitlyn (she/her) has spent years dedicating herself to treating diverse clients with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and ADHD.  Her practice embodies an approach that is aligned with Health at Every Size (HAES), is anti-racist, queer-affirming, and body neutral. She is harm-reduction informed and brings this approach to her care delivery.

Kaitlyn is both passionate about supporting clients at any stage of recovery from an eating disorder as well as providing gender-affirming care and exploration when working with folks who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community. Kaitlyn supports her clients in embracing their neurodiversity while navigating existence in a neurotypical world. She is experienced in working with folks seeking relief from various mental health concerns, including anxiety and panic disorders, mood disorders, PTSD and trauma-related distress, and grief and loss.

Kaitlyn builds relationships with her clients from a compassionate standpoint while holding an understanding that each client possesses the strength and answers to find healing within themselves. She integrates therapeutic approaches from a variety of treatment modalities to meet the unique needs of each client she works with. Most importantly, she likes to focus on maintaining her client’s sense of agency and choice over their own healing journey.

Kaitlyn received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University and Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Assumption University. She currently holds a License in Professional Counseling in the state of Connecticut.
